My Writing
After college I made the conscious decision to skip graduate school. I wanted my voice and style of writing to reflect the world I was living in: my interactions, my perspectives.
Ironically, living that life, which was so important to my point of view, got in the way of actually writing.
I'm chronicling my transition back to the life of a writer in Beautiful Mundane
, my catalogue of the terrific, drab and magical mundanities that come from writing well and getting published again after all those misguided (if well-intentioned) years.
